Rhodope Red Wool Blanket
Heavy and warm pure wool traditional blanket from the Rhodope mountains in Bulgaria. Which happens to be where my parents live.
Made in a local workshop, these blankets use old textile techniques and draw inspiration from the traditional Bulgarian folk patterned called Shevitsa. Local shepherds provide the wool ensuring the whole process is kept local.
The colour consists of red, brown and soft white/cream.
